 In 2010, Hunter's Dream for a Cure is donating $50,000 from the 2010 Celebrity Hunt for a Cure to Children's Care Hospital & School in South Dakota.
Children's Care Hospital & School
Children's Care Hospital & School is an independent, non-profit organization with centers in Sioux Falls and Rapid City, South Dakota, wich annually serves over 2,600 children with special needs from birth to age 21. It was established in 1952 for children recovering from polio, and has evolved to serve children with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges. Services include special education, therapies (speech, occupational, physical, behavioral, and music), autism/behavioral sciences, medical care, and rehabilitation programs. Care is delivered through outreach programs, with professionals traveling across the state to treat children in their homes and schools; outpatient centers in Sioux Falls and Rapid City; plus a 114-bed residential program and 14-classroom school in Sioux Falls.
